Soldering-Assistant Station

Improve your
soldering quality
in real time

Soldering Assistant provides the data to achieve perfection

The system compares the new solder joints with the prestored soldering reference. The operator receives feedback from the station indicated by a colour with a percentage to qualify the process:

0-60% *

61-100% *

Soldering Assistant makes this station perfect to improve the operator's soldering abilities.

* Percentage is configurable

How to achieve a quality solder joint

1

Configure

Set the proper soldering configuration to obtain the best quality soldering in just a few steps and activate Soldering Assistant.

2

Choose
cartridge

By selecting the cartridge used, the station sets up the proper internal configuration to help get a repetitive result during the soldering process.

3

Perform
soldering reference

To obtain a high-quality soldering reference, it is recommendable that an experienced operator performs and verifies the soldering process.

4

Practice

Repeat the soldering joint and the station compares it with the pre-stored joint. Practice until you achieve the desired results.

Soldering process energy

The only way to indicate whether two soldering joints are equal or not is by using the delivered energy measurement during the soldering process and the time needed.

The working temperature and the elapsed time are not enough factors to determinate if a solder joint is repetitive or not.

Mesures energy in real time

The station identifies when a soldering joint is performed. It automatically records the power delivered, the time elapsed and measures the energy supplied.

When optimizing the soldering process is the goal

Providing the same amount of energy - thus the same soldering quality - in less time, results in a production increase without increasing resources.

Benefits

Know the energy delivered to the soldering joint

Monitor the soldering process

Obtain information to optimize processes

Help operators with little experience
