IPC APEX EXPO 2017 is a three-day event like no other in the printed circuit board and electronics manufacturing industry.   • What is your role at JBC?

I am US Sales Manager. I am responsible of providing the best solutions for our current EMS customers as well as giving them the best technical support. I also have to be aware of potential new customers and introduce them to JBC products in a professional way.

  • Before working at JBC, what was the most interesting job you’ve ever had?

After being in the oil and gas industry for over 15 years working as a mechanical & electrical technician, I became an IPC certified instructor traveling around the globe sharing my experience and technical knowledge.

  • What was the first thing that attracted you to JBC?

Every single one in the JBC staff works in such a professional way that I couldn’t wait to be part of JBC Tools team.

  • How has JBC helped you in your career development?

With JBC I have had the opportunity to develop my sales skills, share my technical knowledge as well as be a valuable team player.

  • What are 3 words to describe JBC?

  • What do you find the most challenging at our company?

The bigest challenge is to be able to get your foot in the door of the most important potential key account customers, but it can be done!

  • What do you like most about JBC?

I love the way JBC members give always their 100% to satisfy our customers’ needs. We are not only sales people, but people able to provide technical support. The 99% of time we have the solutions right there, when customers need them most.

  • What is on your wish list for the next 10 years with our company?

I want to succeed with all my JBC colleagues throughout the years. I hope we can get better in every aspect and improve the quality, the reliability and the efficiency of JBC equipment.

  • What advice would you give to newcomers as you in the company?

Just a word of advice: if you want to be part of the JBC team you should be committed 100%, give the best of yourself and be an achievement-driven person. Then you will succeed in the electronics world.

  • What are your expectations for this sector?

JBC has identified this. So we have developed new solutions to achieve greater levels of productivity and efficiency.

  • What are you presenting at the IPC APX EXPO? Why should somebody stop at JBC stand?

As well as presenting our equipment: Nano stations, the solder pot, our new fume extractor, Heavy Duty and Hot Air stations…. We will be giving technical presentations on IPC standards, how to do preventive maintenance on JBC tools and rework applications in different types of SMT and through-hole components.
